Sephora Play April 2016 Review

Good news! Sephora Play! is now open to more people! This box is $10 a month and includes brands featured at Sephora. I'm really sad this month, either they didn't include an info book and play pass, or I just didn't get one. Either way, it makes me sad! I hope it was just a fluke because those are so helpful.

Nars Satin Lip Pencil in Rikugien .05 oz $ 18.57 This sample is .02 oz away from being full size! This one sample is almost two times the cost of the box, and I think the color will look nice on a lot of people. It's pretty sheer, and it's a very different texture from the velvet matte lip pencil. This one feels more like chapstick. It's such a pretty color for summer!

Clinique pep-start eye cream 0.1 oz $5.30

Good Genes by Sunday Riley .34 oz $35.70 I had to do this math about ten times, because I didn't believe my eyes. $35 for a tiny sample?? I'll take it, but I just pray I don't fall in love with it. I can't afford this habit.

Sephora Colorful Cheek Ink Gel 0.35 oz $7.31 This is half the size of the full size! It's an interesting texture, but I don't think this gel color will stay on my oily cheeks.

Milk Makeup Sunshine Oil $7.60 This doesn't have any amount written on it, so I'm guessing it's 0.1 oz. This is supposed to be a nourishing oil for your face and body. I just really want more things to come in cute pouches like this.

Derek Lam 10 Crosby 2 AM Kiss Eau de Parfum .04 oz $2.23 I had to use some of my other perfume samples to guess the amount in this one, as it does not say how many ounces are included. I personally did not like this scent, it kind of gives me a headache, but I'm sure someone will enjoy it.

Verdict: This box has a retail value of $76.71, which is insane for a $10 box! I am so excited (and scared) to try that $35 face serum. I'm amazed at the retail value of these boxes, this one might be the highest so far! I hope it just keeps going up and up.

  Thanks for reading!
